Dear members of the Thinking and Working Politically Community of Practice:

We have been deeply saddened and shocked with the news of Taylor Brown’s passing earlier this month, which was completely unexpected. We have felt at a loss for words to express how distraught we are, and all of our thoughts and love are with Sam Gibson and their three children, Eliza, Jasper and Felix.

To say that Taylor has been an anchor of the TWP CoP would be an understatement. He has been a tireless force of energy, enthusiasm and commitment that has been instrumental in shaping the CoP and in getting us to where we are today. Taylor was always there for you whenever you needed, and he had the most wonderful, thoughtful, and reassuring presence and disposition. He never lost track of the big picture and he was exemplary in his ability to find a way to navigate through even the most dogged of challenges – and to bring others along with him.

On the very morning of the day he died, Taylor was working with Heather, Alina and other CoPers on a concept note that he single-handedly helped to get unstuck.

How we will miss him, not only as a colleague and partner but especially as a friend. He will forever hold a very special place in our collective hearts.

If you would like to share a memory of Taylor or a message for him and his family, Palladium has created a memorial book for him on Remembr.com. The book is available to any colleagues, associates, partners, clients and others who knew and worked with Taylor, and of course this includes anyone from the TWP community.

You can view the page here. The page requires you to set up an account and confirm registration before you can post. The book will be shared with Sam and their children.

With much love,

Alina Rocha Menocal and Graham Teskey
